The LSP – Have You Got What It Takes?

LSP AccreditationThe ability to deliver a successful production is solely dependant upon the efforts of a team – the cast and crew. The responsibility of delivering a successful production rests solely with the Producer. That level of responsibility doesn’t just happen. It is the product of years of experience, exposure to the different disciplines and departments of production, and experience. Lots of experience.

We encourage everyone involved in Live Show production to join the Guild. However, to maintain a high level of standards, we have created a multi-stage vetting process. We will ask you to provide documentation of your work experience – your CV/résumé as well as client and peer endorsements. Additionally, an essential component of our application review process will be to have an informal phone interview with each applicant. Anyone applying for LSP membership must have a verifiable work history that meets the requirements for each of the following classifications:

Every year brings new technologies, talent, code, law and key learnings from prior experiences. The LSP brings all of these bits of information together in one place at one time in the LSP Annual Continuing Education Webinar. This interactive, live event is four hours of continuing education to promote and protect you and your clients. The fee for this course is included in your annual dues and attendance is required to keep your membership and accreditation in good standing. And it’s easy to attend online! You do not have to attend the live event. The live webinar will be recorded and available for your review for 60 days – and you can pause and return at a later time to complete.

Maintaining your accreditation is one of the many ways the LSP works to promote you as dedicated professional.
